Now that we've hopefully managed to convince you that we are in fact not an arm (or any other appendage) of the Walt Disney Company, there's a few other things we should probably disclose to make this all good and legal, and so that you feel safer and more secure with us as honest and forthright individuals.
  • All articles presented on this blog are solely ours as noted before.  But to make it clear, there is no-one telling us in any way, shape, or form what to write.  We carry a natural bias in our writings as Disneyland fans, and we like to view our blog as honest, but "overwhelmingly optimistic".  Translation?  Disneyland isn't perfect; heck, nothing is!  However, we choose to focus on the positive aspects of our experiences and write about those instead.  We figure there's enough negative in the world already, so why contribute more to it?  It's not to say that we won't ever write anything negative about Disneyland or one of our experiences there, but the odds are slim.  And lastly, just because we choose to be "overwhelmingly positive" doesn't mean we're not honest in what we say.  Honest, but overwhelmingly positive; that's us!
  • From time to time we choose to "give back" to our readers and, as a way of saying "Thank You!" to them for their continued support by reading and listening to all of our nonsense, host giveaways on our blog.  Items given away as prizes on our blog in our "Thank You" giveaways are chosen by and paid for completely by Days in the Park unless otherwise noted, although from time to time we may find some freebies lying around to include as well, but they're still chosen by us!  If an item in a "Thank You" giveaway is supplied by someone other than ourselves, it will be noted as such within the body of the giveaway.
  • Occasionally, we are approached by companies with products or services they are offering us in exchange for a review/and or giveaway on our blog.  All products or services that we review or giveaway (sometimes both!) on our blog are chosen by Days in the Park, and no-one tells us what to say or write about said product or service.  Again, like before, we try to be honest yet positive.  If we don't like an product or service, we may well not write about it.  But you can rest assured if we do, that our feelings are genuine and honest.  We'll focus on the positive, and not the negative.  Products that are given to us for review will often be used in giveaways on our blog, though from time to time companies may send additional copies to us for our own use and enjoyment.  We'll let you know either way.  After all, who doesn't enjoy swag?
  • We are NOT, as of today (12/5/2011), compensated monetarily for anything that you see on this blog whether it be our articles, pictures, advertising space, or product reviews.  We do, however, reserve the right to change any of the above at any given time given the right opportunity, and if we do, it will be noted here immediately.
And that, our friends, is a mouthful!  Feeling better about us?  We are, too!
