Days In The Park Goes Mobile... Again!

Just a quick blurb about our furthering efforts to make the website more accessible to everyone.

Last night we finally got around to implementing the "mobile" version of  What that means is that from here on, if you are trying to access the website from a mobile device (iPhone, DROID and the like), you will no longer see Days In The Park as it is viewed in a web browser, all squished up, gross-looking and incompatible in some instances (we were told last night it cleared up a particularly bothersome Flash issue with iPhone).  Rather, you should get something nice and crisp looking like this:

Again, it's not a huge issue and something we could have easily implemented quite some time ago (had we been looking for it), but we want to keep you updated whenever we make some change to the site that we think is for the better and that will enable more people to read us easily in whatever technological environment they find themselves in; even if it's just reading blogs on a cell phone.

Be sure and check it out and let us know what you think!

Awesome! Thanks for letting me know. I was looking at it on my own last night. I try not too because it messes with my stats and I try not to track my own hits, but I couldn't help myself. :)

Hey Chad, if you are using statcounter for your stats, you can login to the statcounter site from your phone and put the blocking cookie onto your browser from there also. I think the cookie will stay. That would prevent you from having stats appear when you look at it.

Thanks for the input :)

I don't use statcounter, I use GetClicky, but it's the same thing and I probably should do that.

Not a huge issue though, I rarely look at the site myself on my phone. I see enough of it during the day on my PC. LOL ;)
